Im Jahre 1857 entwickelte der Konditor Georg Geiger das Rezept für die Retzbacher Pfeffernüsse. Katharina Geiger eine Nachkommin von Georg Geiger hat das Rezept übernommen und weitergegeben. Das Original Rezept bis bis heute in Familienbesitz.
Original Retzbacher Pfeffernüsse werden das ganze Jahr gegessen, gerne auch zu einem Glas fränkischem Wein.
Im ihrem kleinen gemütlichen Café Engelchen verkauft Gabriele Kilian nicht nur die Retzbacher Pfeffernüsse, sondern auch verschiedene Original Retzbacher Mandelmakronen, Kuchenspezialitäten, wie z.B. die Jubiläumstorte. Eine Torte mit Pfeffernussgeschmack und Rotlingsahne.

I do enjoy the manner in which you have framed this particular problem plus it really does present us a lot of fodder for thought.
